Appy Kids: Cheap & Cheerful Drinks for Kids

Appy Kids: Cheap & Cheerful Drinks for Kids

Alyssia was extremely lucky to be sent a huge selection of healthy drinks last week from Appy Kids. I find myself buying smoothies & box juices quite often as they’re easy to chuck in the changing bag when we’re on our way out for the day. Alyssia loves drinking from a straw & gets excited every time. Not only that, Alyssia loves a good parcel, she helps me open my blogger mail and if I know I’m expecting something for her I let her open it which is what I did with our parcel from Appy Kids. We had gone out for the day when our parcel was delivered so I asked for it to be left with my neighbour.

When we got back from doing the food shopping & running errands I got Alyssia into her pj’s and let her open the parcel. She was so excited & as the box was full of shredded paper, she loved it even more. I knew we were being sent some juice drinks to review & I was looking forward to trying them but I didn’t realise we were going to be sent such a variety. We were sent 6 boxes of 5 juice drinks, if my maths is correct that’s 30 drinks.. amazing! We unboxed them and Alyssia’s face just lit up when she saw the characters on the front of the boxes. Paw Patrol, Dora the explorer & Ninja Turtles were on the front of the boxes. Alyssia loves paw patrol and I noticed that they also sell Peppa Pig & The Gruffalo juice boxes too.

We received 6 boxes:

Paw Patrol – Apple
Paw Patrol – Orange
Ninja Turtles – Multivitamin Fruit
Dora The Explorer – Mixed Fruits

It’s almost as if Appy Kids read my mind because at the time we were stuck in a rut. Wessex Water were doing underground work near to our home meaning that our tap water was discoloured and we had no drinking water. I was going to go out and get some bottled drinks but as soon as I realised our Appy Kids parcel had arrived we were sorted. I didn’t need to go out again and Alyssia was over the moon with her delivery. Alyssia loved every single flavour especially the apple & the mixed fruits. The mixed fruits were also my favourite alongside the multivitamin fruit juices which are are a brilliant way of getting your fruit into children that wont eat it.

Usually when I see a drink with ‘lower sugar’ I think great, but quite often they taste a little different. However I was pleasantly surprised when I tasted an Appy Kids drink for myself. They are lower in sugar & have less calories in them than your average juice carton & they taste amazing.  All of the packaging on Appy Kids drinks are recyclable & are made from reused materials meaning that they are great for the environment too. The company have an ‘Appy Kids Club’ where you can sign up & receive news & events from them including healthy top tips. Overall we really loved the drinks that we received from Appy Kids & I would buy them in the future.

You can buy these from Tesco, Whole Foods, Spar, Poundland & Ocado.

*We were sent these products in exchange for an honest review, all thoughts & opinions are of my own.
