Mum guilt and blogging

Hi everyone, so I am aware that I haven’t posted a new blog post in nearly a week now when usually I write two a week. But life has been pretty hectic recently, after hours of research – I finally managed to go self hosted on my blog. Unfortunately my old blog wouldnt let me export all my old files to the new one so I had to transfer them individually which is a pain because I feel like alot of my readers have been left behind so basically I’ve started with a clean slate, completely fresh to start all over again! So here I am, this is my new blog – it still has a lot of work to do on it and I’m still learning about all the new features and advantages that I have with this self hosted site. But I’m trying my best to get it all sorted.

I’ve been spending so much time on my blog this past week trying to set it all up, that I felt like i had let things slip.. although the housework had still been done, and the baby had still been bathed.. I had a horrible feeling of mum guilt come over me, feeling like I hadn’t spent enough quality time with Alyssia. So this week I’ve tried to limit my time on here and make the most of my little girl (who isn’t so little anymore, timehop is killing me this week!)

(Mothers day 2016) – My first mothers day!
I can’t quite believe how quickly the time has gone and how much she is changing every day. We had a lovely mothers day, this is my second year as a mother (Alyssia is 13 months old now) how scary is that!!! Alyssia tried out her new reins for the first time and walked all the way to the end of the road, I then realised that a 5 minute walk to my aunties house was going to turn into a 5 hour walk so she went back in her stroller.

(Mothers day 2017)
I absolutely love being a mum, and really wouldn’t change it for the world – this is what I was meant to do! I started this blog as a way of documenting daily life as a young mum, and documenting the life of my babygirl.

Last week I was offered my first PR opportunity which is pretty exciting, so I have accepted that and will be reviewing some lovely pregnancy / Motherhood based books here on my blog in the next few weeks. So look out for that!

Like i said above, I’m a new mummy blogger and would really appreciate it if you could share the love by posting my blog on Twitter/Facebook etc and then tag me! Thank you so much everyone for your support so far..
