If you’re anything like me, you love a good haul post so I figured I would show you what I picked up in the Next Sale, and what I bought from the Boots mini club last week.
I just want to start by saying that I didn’t go to the next sale until 5 days after it started so I did only manage to pick up 2 items in the sale, If I’m honest there wasn’t much left in her size at all. I was hoping to maybe get a few things in size 2-3 but again there was nothing left although there did seem to be quite a big range of boys clothing left, damn!
The first thing I picked up was this little denim dress, I have had my eye on this for quite a while now but have never got round to ordering it. If you know me, you’ll know that I’m a big denim fan when it comes to toddler clothing. I absolutely love denim dresses, dungarees etc.. I just thought this dress was really cute & for £4.50 you can’t really go wrong. I can dress her in this with just white frilly socks in the summer or with tights and little boots and a cardigan in the autumn / winter.
The other thing we picked up in the Next sale was again another little dress. This style of dress is completely different to what I usually go for, its grey with little pink raccoons on it. I saw this print on a pair of dungarees in the last Next sale and I couldn’t decide whether to get them or not (I didn’t) so this time when I saw it on a pretty little dress I just had to pick it up. It is in size 12-18 months and although I was aiming to only buy clothes in size 18-24, 1.5-2 or 2-3 this dress seemed quite big for 12-18 months so I thought it would be perfect for the autumn / winter with a pair of leggings or some tights.
As I said I only got 2 items in the Next Sale and was pretty disappointed when I realised there wasn’t much in her size left, but what can I expect? I did go 5 days too late, oops! Because I only bought the 2 items in Next, I thought I would just ‘pop into Boots to have a look’ haha as if, I cannot leave that shop without buying at least something. I am a massive fan of their 2 for £8 or 3 for £12 deal. This first thing I picked up in Boots was this gorgeous flowery dress, it’s quite a thin material but I just could not resist when I saw all the bright colours and flowers are a massive win for me. I am a real sucker for anything floral, especially when it comes to kids clothing. The weather has been really on and off here in the UK, and seen as it is now supposed to be summer (believe it or not) I thought I would buy her something that she could wear when its warm. This would be a perfect little dress for wearing on the beach.
The second thing that I picked up in Boots which was also on the 2 for £8 deal was this long sleeved mustard coloured dress with little deer on. I thought this would be perfect for November/December. This colour is not to everyone’s taste I must admit but I do really love it, I bought Alyssia a little mustard cardigan a few months back & I also had a mustard cardigan that I wore when I was pregnant with Liss. However I seem to have misplaced it which is a shame. As I was saying, this dress is not to everyone’s taste but I loved the pattern and it would go lovely with some tights and some little boots (that reminds me, she needs new boots – time for another haul already?)
Last but not least, I picked up this little pink textured sweat top in the sale, it was just £5 half price from £10 which I thought was a great deal. I had my eye on this when it first came out but again I never got round to ordering it. I’m so glad I waited as now it is half price, winning! I love the white peter pan collar with all the floral embroidery, how gorgeous is that! It feels super soft & I cannot wait to put her in it.
I hope you have enjoyed my first ever haul post, I honestly don’t know why I’ve not done one of these before..
Let me know what you think, Do you love a haul post as much as I do?
Thanks for reading,
