CHRISTMAS GIFT IDEAS FOR BABIES & TODDLERS

Christmas is not very far away now and if you haven’t already started your Christmas shopping, don’t leave it to the last minute, make a start now even if that means just planning out what you are going to buy. To make life easier I have picked out a few things that I think would make perfect Christmas presents for babies and toddlers this Christmas in hope that you’ll get some ideas.

Happyland Bus & Hedgehog – First up we have the red Happyland Bus that comes with 4 people and a road sign. Currently £21.60 but on a 3 for 2 offer with the ELC. The next thing I picked up for the girls was the Happyland Advent Calendar (Currently £23.99) I think they’ll love this.. and to make the most of the 3 for 2 offer, the last thing I picked up was the Happyland Wobble Along Hedgehog that comes with 2 fairies. Currently £16 so this one came free on the offer. If you have children who are into pretend play, Happyland is the way to go. It lasts years so it is definitely worth paying that little bit more for good quality toys. However If you didn’t want to pay full price / sale prices for them its always worth checking your facebook marketplace as its full of bargains this time of year.

Vtech Zoomizooz – Vtech have brought out a new range called Zoomizooz, they have a tree house (currently £29.99) which I think looks amazing and also have smaller items like the zoomizooz alligator (currently £9) and the zoomizooz swing. I got both the smaller items from Amazon and I also picked up a pack of the zoomizooz animals in the Sainsburys toy sale, I think they were around £5. I would have loved to of got the tree house but I’m trying to stick to smaller sized presents this year so that they can be packed away easily at the end of the day.

Wooden Skittles – If you know me well you’ll know that I have a huge love for wooden toys. I picked up this gorgeous Dear Zoo Skittles Set from The Gift Experience, a website that I love very much. The skittles set is not only extremely cute but it has a personalisation option where you can add a name onto the wheel of the cart. I think its such a cute present, if you were to buy it for a baby they can play with the wooden animals until they’re old enough to understand the concept of the ball game and not only that, I think it would make a great little feature in a children’s bedroom / playroom. Both my 14 month old and 3 year old would love this set.

Gro Anywhere Blind – Not a toy but in my opinion, an essential in the Summer. Everytime the clocks change it always interupts the children’s bedtime routine. In the Summer when the evenings are lighter it can sometimes make bedtimes more difficult. Having a blackout blind that you simply just suction onto the window, is amazing. It works wonders with my girls and I couldn’t reccomend it enough. £24.99 from the Gro Company or currently £15 in Boots.

Vtech My First Cash Register – we bought this for Isabelle’s first birthday and she absolutely loves it. Currently £19.99 in Smyths. It comes with a little blue shopping basket, 10 good quality pretend food items that you can weigh on the scales and a pretend bank card. Already at 14 months old she is loving pretending to play shops with her big sister, I think this would make a great present.

Chad Valley Fun Gadget Set – this is from Argos and is on the famous 2 for £15 offer. I absolutely love this little set and think its a bargain. We have bought Isabelle similar for Christmas, I got a phone and a remote in the Sainsburys toy sale this year but have also seen them separately in places like B&M. Not only would it make a great gift, you could also use them as stocking fillers like I have.

Vtech Microphone – last but not least we have the Vtech Sing Along Microphone which sings songs, helps your little one recognise animal sounds and is also a real microphone that amplifies your voice. This is also from Argos and on the 2 for £15 offer. I love this and have also got my eye on the Peppa pig microphone on Amazon which I believe is around £12.

I hope that this has given you a few ideas if you were stuck and I hope you all have a lovely Christmas. Happy shopping!
