Monsoon Rose Gold Perfume: First Impressions.

Monsoon Rose Gold Perfume: First Impressions.

I was so excited when Monsoon got in contact with me to see if I would like to review their Rose Gold Perfume, not only are they a shop that I absolutely LOVE but they are a well known brand that I can proudly say I have worked with on the blog. I actually bought my prom jewellery and clutch bag from Monsoon a few years ago and I have loved the shop ever since.

But firstly lets talk about how amazing the delivery was, I was contacted last week and received the parcel first thing the next morning. I didn’t have a clue what it was at first as I couldn’t remember ordering anything & I had only given the PR lady my postal address the day before, but I was so so excited to try it out. This couldn’t have come at a better time as it’s my 19th birthday next week & I was actually going to ask for some new perfume now that mine has run out (so if you know anyone who loves perfume as much as I do this is an ideal gift). It retails at just £35 which is pretty reasonable in my opinion & the packaging is gorgeous. It is contained in a cute little white box with a rose gold band & rose gold writing to match the name. It’s one of those boxes that you won’t want to throw away.. if you know what I mean? I might just hoard it forever..

I couldn’t help but open up the parcel as soon as I received it, I sprayed the perfume almost straight away & was getting my partner to have a smell of it too. It smells DIVINE. I am a sucker for a fruity smell and this contains hints of lemon with soft fruity scents, topped with rose & vanilla. It’s one of those perfumes that stay on your clothes all day & make you smell amazing. It comes in a cute little bottle & is the perfect size. I’ll definitely be including this one in my christmas gift guide because I just LOVE it so much, I may have found a new favourite.. If you haven’t already, I would definetely go to Monsoon just to spray the tester on yourself because I guarantee you too will fall in love.

I always feel so much better about myself when I have a full face of make up on & some perfume, I feel like its such a confidence booster. I set myself a self care challenge this month to put just a little bit of make up on & to get up and ready every single day in October, I mentioned in one of my recent posts that I sometimes struggle to find the motivation to get up and ready for the day so I felt like this was relevant this month. This perfume looks gorgeous sitting on my dressing table & as silly as it sounds, I can’t wait to get dressed & spray it on myself which is a good feeling when you’ve been in such a slump for so long. Overall, I am really impressed with the product, it’s a perfume that I would recommend to other women/mums & a product that I will be replacing when it runs out..  You can purchase this for yourself or a loved one here.

Love the packaging and bottle! I will have to give it a sniff next time I’m out shopping. I’m not sure what my favourite perfume is… perhaps Lady Million or Armani Dimond!
    Much love, Caitylis x x
