Muslin cloths aren’t just good for wiping up sick, they can be used for so many things. Here’s a few of my ideas:
- Burping cloth – the traditional use for a muslin cloth
- Breastfeeding cover up
- Mop up absolutely anything – sick, wee, any juice spillages
- Use as a background for photos – this is what I’ve done here and I absolutely love them.
- Sunshade in a car
- Lines a cold changing mat nicely – is there anything worse than lying on a cold surface?
- Peek a boo
- Wiping rain off the slides & swings at the park
- As a light blanket
Best places to buy them?
I have bought muslin cloths from quite a few shops; Asda, Aldi, Aden & Anais, Able Labels etc and you can pick them up almost anywhere. I personally don’t rate Asda’s, I find the material quite scratchy compared to some of the other brands however they do work really well if you’re just using them to mop up sick. Aldi’s aren’t bad but again aren’t my favourite however they are so cheap it really doesn’t matter. I always pick up a pack of 3 in the Aldi baby events. The Aden & Anais cloths are really good and the sofest I have found yet. They do the most beautiful patterns, I absolutely love them however they are a little on the pricey side.
Able Labels Personalised Range – Review
The muslin cloths that I got from Able Labels are my all time favourites, not only are they great quality but they are affordable too at just £12 for a pack of 3. You can personalise them with any message you like. You can also choose from a whole range of fonts and colours ensuring that they are designed to suit you. They are a great size and can be used for so many different things. As I said above I have used mine as a background for some newborn photo’s in which I wanted to share with you all.
We absolutely love the muslin cloths and would 10/10 recommend them. They seem to be Isabelle’s favourite and she uses them as a comfort to get to sleep which is pretty cute.
Able Labels have a whole range of personalised gifts that I believe would make great christmas presents. As well as the pack of 3 muslin cloths that we got from there we also got a personalised baby hat in our chosen colour, personalised with our baby girls name, Isabelle. We featured the hat in our birth announcement photo and everybody absolutely loved it.
Personalised Baby Name Hat
She also wore this hat home from the hospital and it’s something I will keep forever in her keepsake box. Able labels have some lovely items that would make brilliant Christmas presents.
